COUP D’OEIL

Born in Rome, raised in Buenos Aires and Paris, Christian Floquet lives in Milan.

His passion for photography began in childhood, when he used his camera to capture everything that sparked his curiosity: light, colour and forms in architecture.

In this exhibition, he takes us on a journey through the places closest to his heart. From Paris to Rome, Milan to London, Kyoto to Framura. Images and sensations distilled into the photographer’s own “glance”.

Floquet’s photographs naturally reflect his personal experiences and the influence of the photographers he most admires, yet they remain suggestive rather than prescriptive, leaving viewers free to look beyond what is immediately visible.

From this sense of freedom, within a design gallery that retains its own identity, and from the photographer’s distinctive perspective, emerges a vibrant, multifaceted and ever-changing installation. It accompanies visitors on an emotional journey towards and alongside Christian Floquet.
